(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama, in partnership with Chinese telecommunication giant, Huawei have flagged off the distribution of free assorted educational materials valued several millions to selected schools in Udi Council areas of Enugu state.
Speaking at the event held at Central school, Amankwo Community, in Eke, Udi Council area of the state, where he also hails from, the Minister, explained that the gesture was aimed at supporting the beneficiaries in improving their studies in their basic education programme pursuit.
African Examiner reports that the partnership deal with Huawei was struck by the Minister via his pet project, operating under the platform of (Kwusike) Foundation, meaning stand firm.

Ignatius Okpara, he spoke on how his Blueprint, which he referred to as his intellectual property was alledgdly “stolen” by Heineken via the Nigerian Breweries. The Blueprint which he invented some years ago and won the approval of the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission NERC was to be deployed to solve power challenges in the country, especially the high tariff, energy theft among others. The development had since derailed the project whose pilot scheme was to begin with the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, (EEDC).
