Resio Moses served as senator, ambassador, governor

SAIPAN, CNMI (Saipan Tribune, June 26, 2009)ÂClose friends in the CNMI of the late Resio S. Moses, vice speaker of the Federated States of Micronesia Congress, were saddened by his passing this week, remembering him as one of the icons of leadership in the region.
Moses, who stayed for many years on Saipan during the Trust Territory days, died Monday while undergoing treatment at the Pohnpei State Hospital. He was 65.
He was a classmate of Gov. Benigno R. Fitial at the University of Guam.
