Mazi Sam Ohaubunwa, a former member of Presidential Advisory Committee on Subsidy Reinvestment & Empowerment Programme,(SURE-P) and current President of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, has expressed deep concern over deteriorating conditions of things in the country.
Ohuabunwa lamented that the country is being run in an opaque manner and needs to be redirected for the good of all.
The Abia born Pharmacist, who is the convener, The New Nigeria Group, in a statement on Sunday, posited that the government as presently constituted is so lopsided and Nigeria cannot work like that.
Ohuabunwa who used the opportunity to announce that he would be joining the nation’s presidential race ahead of 2023 general elections, said every Nigerian who wants peace and unity must support power shift to the South-East.

(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – A body, Pan Nigeria Presidency of Igbo Extraction Coalition, PANPIEC, has urged former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ashwaju Bola Tinubu, to drop their presidential ambitions in the 2023 election.
PANPIEC, disclosed this in a statement by its Director of Planning and Strategy, Chief Pat Anyanwu, on Saturday, after a meeting between the Coalition and a northern group, Arewa Power Shift Movement, in Port Harcourt Rivers State.
The group noted that that power shifting to Igbo land in 2023 will heal the wounds of the Igbo and they enjoined other Nigerians to support the actulisation of Nigeria Presidential project in 2023.

President Muhammadu Buhari has showered praises on Bisi Akande, the pioneer Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as he turns 82 years old.
Buhari, in a copy of the birthday best wishes made available to DAILY POST by his Spokesman, Garba Shehu, described the former Osun State Governor as “one of the biggest and strongest pillars of democracy in the country.”
Buhari also noted in the message, that Akande “is committed to service of the country and welfare of all citizens.”
The President specifically pointed out that the APC, which Akande helped establish in 2014 has benefited from his wealth of experience and leadership qualities and “strong democratic convictions.”
