Community detains IBEDC vehicles, demands electricity re-connection

Residents of the Ilupeju area of Isokan community, Iyana Cele, Ifo Local government area of Ogun State have seized two operational vehicles of the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company for disconnecting them.
They insisted that they will not release the vehicles unless their electricity supply was reconnected.
It was gathered that a meeting between the head of the community and the youths was ongoing when the officials of IBEDC stormed the community and disconnected the community for indebtedness to the company.
Trouble, however, started when the news filtered to the youths at the meeting, prompting them to race to the scene of disconnection.
