IFFY ONUORA has added his voice to the growing chorus of people sick and tired of the lack of action taken from social media companies who continue allow racists to go unpunished on their platforms, with Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford becoming the latest player this year to be racially abused. Onuora, the 53-year-old former Gillingham and Huddersfield striker, is set to become the Premier League’s first head of equality, diversity and inclusion as football again finds itself targeted by hate crime. Chelsea defender Reece James, West Brom’s Romaine Sawyers and Rashford’s teammates Axel Tuanzebe and Anthony Martial all suffered online racist abuse this week.
