Two cattle transporters alleged that they were attacked by Hindutva extremists led by Kerehalli on March 20 near Electronic City in Bengaluru. However, they filed a complaint only after Kerehalli was arrested in the alleged murder of another cattle transporter.
A video had earlier gone viral of Hindutva extremist Puneeth Kerehalli assaulting a cattle trader named Aleemulla Baig with a stun gun and abusing him on March 20.
