One of the early winners at the 2021 Grammy Awards pre-ceremony was the critically acclaimed singer–songwriter Fiona Apple, who scored three nominations.
But the 43-year-old musician revealed Sunday on her friend Zelda Hallman s Instagram that she wouldn t be seen anywhere on the main ceremony broadcast that night.
In her brief video, which was filmed in an extreme closeup, she explained that the stress of the ceremony would have been a challenge to her sobriety.
