Four business entities shut for violating safety rules

The Dubai Municipality closed a salon in Palm Jumeirah, two laundries in Al Raffa, and a food establishment in Saeed Port for non-compliance with physical distancing and wearing masks in addition to violating health and personal hygiene instructions.
Municipal inspectors carried out 146 inspection visits and fined 5 institutions and warned other 16.
According to the municipality, the total compliance rate for all institutions amounted to 83%, while the number of institutions which met the requirements and measures of public safety amounted to 121.
The municipality said they are keen to follow the precautionary and preventive measures during supervisory rounds on institutions, which include requirements to be followed, including: commitment to social distancing, cleaning and disinfection at all times and recording them, commitment to wearing masks and gloves, and checkin
