Nhs figures released this morning reveal that 66 of the 152 Hospital Trusts raised the alarm, as large numbers of patients experienced Trolley Waits and delays in a e. Good evening, its 5pm, the main stories. Severe Flood Warnings are in place along much of englands east coast, with thousands of homes at risk, as snow and strong winds continue to hit the uk. The risk of high tides and storm surges has led to the warnings which mean there is a danger to life. This is the Environment Agency map and as you can see, there are dozens of locations at risk. Down the east coast and down towards the south east. Evacuations are under Way Injaywick in essex, and Great Yarmouth in norfolk. In total there are 17 severe Flood Warnings in place across england and wales. There are also 90 warnings where flooding is expected and immediate action is required.
