ACROSS TEXAS A deadly winter storm that blew through the Deep South Sunday into Monday has immobilized much of the Lone Star State, leaving several people dead, millions without power and several frigid days still to come.
The storm was part of a massive system that brought snow, sleet and freezing rain to the southern Plains and was spreading across the Ohio Valley and to the Northeast.
