Attention Nintendo fans: It s finally happening. Super Nintendo World is officially opening its doors this month. But, to get in, you re going to have to follow a lot of new rules.
After pushing back its 2020 opening date, and again pushing back its February 2021 opening date, Super Nintendo World in Japan announced its new opening date, March 18, in a statement posted to its website. Super Nintendo World will make its debut as the first multi-level land at Universal Studios Japan where Peach s Castle and Bowser s Castle tower over the area, the theme park shared. It will feature Mario Kart- and Yoshi-themed rides and attractions, as well as restaurants, shops, and other experiences that can only be found at Universal Studios Japan.

In 2016, Nintendo delighted gaming fans everywhere by announcing its plans to build a theme park called Super Nintendo World around its famous games in Japan. Though the project was hit with delays due to the pandemic, fans are getting a new glimpse of what the soon-to-open theme park will look like.
In early January, Universal Studios Japan shared a new virtual tour of Super Nintendo World, after releasing a finalized map of the park in late December. As
Hypebeast reported, the tour takes guests through the theme park, showing off its colorful rides in motion, just as fans will soon get to see them in real life.

As we ve reported, the long-promised Super Nintendo World theme park at Universal Studios Japan is set to open in February of this year, and a new website lets you take a virtual tour of sorts of the new Mario-flavored playground. The website lets you click on various Super Nintendo World attractions, including the Mario Kart and Yoshi’s Adventures rides, the Toad-themed restaurant, and more. Overall, the site provides one of the clearest impressions yet of what the Nintendo-themed park will actually be like – check out the website here (don’t worry, it’s in English). The first Japanese Super Nintendo World TV ad has also been released.
