GARDEZ, Afghanistan, June 7 (Xinhua) Four civilians were killed as their car ran over a mine outside Gardez city, capital of eastern Paktia province on Sunday, provincial governor Mohammad Halim Fedai said Monday.
The deadly blast took place in Ibrahim Khil village outside Gardez city on Sunday afternoon, killing four civilians including two women, a child and the car driver on the spot, Fedai told reporters.
