ARRESTS, CITATIONS
• Jessie A. Williams, 31, of 3701 Sangamo Heights Road in Springfield was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, driving while license is revoked, disobeying a stop sign, and illegal transportation of alcohol after the car he was driving went through a stop sign and collided with a car being driven by Phyllis E. Freeman, 78, of Jacksonville at Church Street and Douglas Avenue at 2:05 p.m. Monday. Police said Williams left the scene but was later found and treated at Passavant Area Hospital. Freeman was treated at the scene for a minor laceration and pain in her shoulder, police said.

ARRESTS, CITATIONS
• Daveon L. Mapes, 20, of 1042 E. Morton Ave. was booked into the Morgan County jail at 8:05 p.m. Friday on a domestic battery charge.
• Gregory A. Swift, 38, of 706 S. Sixth St., Virden, was booked into the Morgan County jail at 9:24 a.m. Sunday on charges of driving while license suspended and violation of equipment requirements.
• Lindsey A. Boys, 35, of 822 Jefferson St., Springfield, was booked into the Morgan County jail at 10:58 p.m. Sunday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.

• Jonathon L. Haslett, 22, of 2735 S. 14th St., Springfield, was arrested at 9:46 p.m. Sunday on charges of obstructing identification and driving while license is suspended after the car he was driving was stopped in the 800 block of West Morton Avenue.
