Funeral services for Billerica Police Sergeant Ian Taylor who was tragically killed Friday evening while working a construction site detail have been announced.
Ahead of Sunday's vigil for fallen Billerica Police Sgt. Ian Taylor, residents paid their respects at the Billerica Public Safety Memorial, laying flowers there and on top of a cruiser draped in black bunting. Billerica firefighters and police officers lined up along Tom Glavine Way to salute the law enforcement procession escorting the hearse carrying Taylor past the Billerica Police Department one last time on his journey from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Boston to Cataudella Funeral Home in Methuen.
