After longtime Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away in September, President Trump and then-Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell both made it clear that a nomination to replace her would be made and that confirmation hearings would be held before Election Day. This infuriated the left, who began calling for adding Justices to the Supreme Court otherwise known as “packing the court.”
Because Democrats were getting hammered with questions on court-packing, they tried to change the definition to mean filling existing vacancies. For example, Joe Biden said in October that “the fact is that the only packing going on is this court is being packed now by the Republicans after the vote is already begun.”

Many have noted that it wasn’t so long ago when Trump was touting the New York Post’s reporting on Hunter Biden. Washington Post Fact Checker himself, Glenn Kessler, couldn’t help but make that observation. In his own special way, of course:

As Twitchy reported back in October, even Hillary Clinton super-fan Peter Dao said “there’s no better word” to describe the members of the Lincoln Project than “grifters,” and his Democrat followers agreed, saying that “supporting them beyond [the 2020 election] is a hard no.” A lot of people have been asking what the Lincoln Project is going to do now that President Biden is around the corner. Democrats don’t want to be associated with them, and they’ve burned most of their bridges with the Republican Party; Never-Trumper Bill Kristol, who backed Donald Trump alternative Evan McMullin in 2016, has floated the idea of launching a centrist Owl Party. In other words, they have no idea what to do now, as Politico found in its report.
