Starbucks is adding a new item to its coffee menu. The flat white. Its been available in the uk and australia for years. Coffee lovers here in the u. S. Cant seem to agree on exactly what a flat white is. Most of them call it a cappuccino variant but instead of the flavorless airy foam it has a dense foam that is mixed evenly through the drink. I saw this when i was on assignment in london in august. I didnt know what it was. I was asking them and they couldnt quite explain it. A lot of baristas dont really know how to make it. That may be why they werent able to explain it. Some say its not a cappuccino but just a small latte. A small latte. And its all about theres a caramelized layer of coffee that rises to the top of the foam. That sounds complicated. Apparently you can get it starting next week. Our hats off t

To close Guantanamo Bay. Listening to you, it is a little murky. Im not so sure whether you are concerned about the civil rights of the prisoners or the fact that Guantanamo Bay itself is something the u. S. Should not keep open. So my question, is it closing Guantanamo Bay or giving justice to the people and the 186 people . When you go on that track, and everybody loses track of what is really the issue. I dont understand the distinction. Its not just to hold people indefinitely without. Guantanamo is the symbol of that. Youve got to get them out of there and close it. I dont want to get in an argument. Your first point about the cost, not the Economic Cost that you can put a dollar figure on but the cost to america, the intangible cost.
