simple. it doesn t really matter, it would appear, how many articles there are. the chance of a jury nullification by senate republicans is the conventional wisdom about how this is going to turn out. i m a believer in the idea that smart even smart politicians if confronted with overwhelming evidence and a sense of duty, are capable of listening to the evidence and changing their minds if, in fact, the evidence is sufficient. i want to listen in to house speaker nancy pelosi who is talking about the usmca, the trade deal, and democratic unity. let s listen for a minute. which explains why we are so proud of the distance that we have come from where we started with the administration on this legislation. it s a victory for america s workers, it s one that we take great pride in advancing.
