POINSETT CO., Ark. (KAIT) - A pursuit along Interstate 555 in Poinsett County Wednesday has a Jonesboro man facing fleeing and drug charges, according to authorities.
Laquinton Lauderdale, 24, of Jonesboro was arrested Wednesday evening after the pursuit, which ended in the Marked Tree/Payneway area.
Poinsett County Sheriff Kevin Molder told Region 8 News that his department got a call about a BOLO (be on the lookout), about a person wanted out of Jonesboro.
According to the probable cause affidavit, a deputy stationed on the Payneway entrance ramp on I-555 spotted a white Dodge Charger with Tennessee tags traveling at a high rate of speed.

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - For people heading to Jonesboro in the next few weeks, construction work could create some changes at a busy local interchange.
According to a media release from ArDOT, the interchange improvements for I-555/Red Wolf Boulevard (Highway 49) project will start in February.
The work will include the installation of new loop ramps. Officials said it will increase safety by eliminating left turns across oncoming traffic at Red Wolf.
