this right here is about a 275 to 300 mile stretch that is going to be dealing with over a foot of rain and going inland about 125 miles. so a really large area getting over a foot of rain. that means no place for the water to go. zoom in closer. looking at the numbers. there s corpus christi. going to port lavaka. that will probably see the worst of the wind and the storm surge and maybe 53 inches of ray. i say that. hard to imagine that. that s what this model output is doing. if the storm stays farther towards that area, worse news for port lavaka and better news for louisiana. not sure there. well over a foot of rain around houston, maybe into the 20s, 30s around galveston. one other thing, going inland to san antonio. this is the break-off point. how far that storm nudges to the west is a big difference for this i-35 corridor from san antonio to austin.

we had almost 20 inches of rain in a majority of spots and a few actually did creep over that 20-inch mark. take a look at the numbers beneath mere. 21 in killean, texas. austin picking up 16 inches of rain and a lot of spots picking up a foot of rain. they have inundated by all of that rain. in addition to that we have a lot of storm reports. tornado reports in the last 24 hours. not all of them are confirmed. they will go out and do surveys for today. we know at least numerous reports, and there has been some damage with several of those tornado reports as well. once we take a look. the moisture is surging up toward parts of mississippi and alabama and georgia and rainfall estimates the next 24 hours, we are talking about another 4, 6 inches of rain in many spots, some could pick up as much as

much forward progression. all that flooding to california. all the flooding to arizona. and then this last few days all this flooding to texas. now, that is starting to be influenced by moisture that s coming up from hurricane patricia that s that just hit mexico. here you see the radar. we see the flooding. we have especially along that i-35 corridor overnight toward the hill country not looking good right now. some areas maybe another four to five inches of rain right there. you go a little bit farther toward the east and we will see maybe up to 8 to 12 inches of rain where you see he that red and mostly along i-35 from dallas down toward austin and hill country. flash flooding going on. be very careful. here is a satellite picture. hurricane patricia came on shore there across pars of mexico between puerta vallarta and manzanillo. a little town. that is an area we haven t seen pictures as of yet. watch as the light comes up and start to get a pushing
