He finds that coding generates fruitful reflection by the coders, about themselves, their political and economic circumstances, and what roles they can play in society.
Suzanne Freeman and Mariel Garcia-Montes are the recipients of the 2023 Jeanne Guillemin Prize at the MIT Center for International Studies (CIS). The prize provides financial support to women studying international affairs, a field that has long been dominated by men.
