The violent gangland feud which sparked a gun war on the streets of Manchester
An increasingly reckless tit-for-tat feud has been growing - police are investigating whether it s linked to the St Peter s Square shooting

On New Year s Day, a Ford Fiesta crashed into a restaurant in Manchester s Albert Square.
Firefighters had to help a young man and woman from the burning vehicle.
They and two others were taken to hospital for treatment.
Police are now investigating the crash as potentially being linked to a violent gangland feud which erupted a month later.
GMP has confirmed that no action was taken against the driver of the car that burst into flames. Officers believe the car that was pursuing his vehicle before the crash may be linked to one of the organised crime groups involved in the feud. The MEN understands it was reported that a person in the pursuing car had a firearm.
