Hyundai has confirmed its first made-in-India electric offering will arrive by early 2025 and will be built at its Tamil Nadu facility, near Chennai. The most affordable Hyundai electric car in India is expected to be the Creta EV.
Last year, the company had announced its plans to launch more electric vehicles under the Hyundai and Kia brands in India. It is reportedly planning to invest Rs 20,000 crore over the next 10 years in Tamil Nadu to modernize vehicle platforms and expand its presence in the countrys fast-evolving electric vehicle segment.
