On Thursday, Telangana reported 47 new Covid cases out of which 36 were from Hyderabad alone. The state logged zero Covid deaths in the last 24 hours, the health department said.
Amid the third wave of Covid-19, at least 20 to 25 per cent cases detected in Hyderabad are reinfections who had tested positive for the infection earlier. On Tuesday, Telangana recorded 2,983 fresh Covid-19 cases and two deaths.
