MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCSC) - Mount Pleasant Police say all lanes of Highway 17 have reopened after a report of possible downed power lines blocked the roadway.
Police said lanes in both directions had been blocked near Brickyard Parkway shortly before noon.
However, Dominion Energy spokesman Paul Fischer said crews confirmed the downed lines were not power lines, but rather telecommunications lines, which could have included telephone or cable lines.
