center. at 5:00 p.m., they had a lost information and updates regarding tropical storm isaac. a big update is that the hurricane watch was upgraded to a hurricane warning across the city of new orleans and southern mississippi and southern alabama and western parts of the florida panhandle. in the next 24 to 36 hours you could feel tropical storm force winds so you need to make preparations now for a possible category two hurricane making landfall headed into tuesday and wednesday of next week. right now, isaac still has maximum sustained wind of 60 miles per hour, and the center of it is about 40 miles to the southwest of key west and moving to the west at 16 miles per hour. the updated track is that isaac is forecast to remain a tropical storm for a little bit longer than originally anticipated and not became a hurricane until tuesday, at 1:00 o clock a.m., with maximum sustained wind of 80 miles per hour.
