Hurricane Harbor is set to reopen this Memorial Day weekend following a quiet 2020 season, featuring a new record-breaking water coaster, the park announced.
Capacity limits on a wide range of businesses and activities will loosen Friday as the state enters the next-to-last phase of Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s reopening plan.

People should check the calendar on the morning of the date they plan on going because park hours are subject to change, the website said.
COVID-19 safety measures
According to the Six Flags 2021 Health & Safety Policy, attendees will undergo a non-invasive temperature check prior to entering the park.
Upon entrance, guests have to wear a mask at all times (unless they re a child 2 or under), and follow social distancing and sanitization guidelines that are posted throughout the park.
