T
he roll-out of the Covid-19vaccine by London GPs is being met with gratitude by patients but is taking longer to administer than expected.
The first vaccines were given to over-80s in the capital on Monday afternoon, with more than a thousand likely to receive the jab on Tuesday.
The Hurley Clinic in Kennington vaccinated 15 people on Monday and has 255 booked in on Tuesday. Surgeries in Lewisham, Southwark, Greenwich and Bexley are also understood to be offering the Pfizer jab. GPs are offering the jab to over-80s who are living at home and can come to a surgery.
