Photo from Google Maps A TEACHERS union has accused the council of deliberately winding down a special needs school in Bromsgrove to justify closing it entirely. Hunters Hill College, which is based in Blackwell but maintained by Birmingham City Council, received a damning Ofsted report in October 2019 and was rated inadequate after inspectors found the quality of education to be poor, pupils literacy and numeracy skills to be weak and attendance low. A follow-up inspection in January raised further concerns about teachers using excessive physical force , safeguarding, behaviour and attendance, but did note some improvements and praised the impact of the new interim head.
