With cancer affecting several people in her life, Christie McLean from Uley decided she wanted to do something to help. She is now joining forces with Macmillan Cancer Support to raise awareness and money for the charity. Christie says that the ride, which is planned for next month, will hopefully give people something to smile about and in return they will give generously. She will be riding her Welsh Section D, called Coalman, through the streets of Dursley on Saturday, June 19, before heading out of the town and on to the Greene King owned Hunters Hall Inn at Kingscote.
