CLEARWATER, Fla., May 5, 2021 /PRNewswire/ PODS Enterprises, LLC, the industry leader in portable moving and storage solutions, is partnering with the Hamburg Fire Department in northwestern New Jersey to assist in collecting and storing firefighting gear to reequip fire departments in areas of Alabama affected by a series of tornadoes in late March.

This Epic Weekend In Pictures started with me getting the Johnson & Johnson Covid Vaccine shot at Rite Aid in Hamburg. I was able to pick the Johnson & Johnson shot, and am very happy I did. When I told folks Thursday night that I chose the J & J one shot, many looked back and winced in fear. With our radio station and my Weekend In Pictures, I have some awesome platforms. I picked the J & J shot because so many are nervous about it after the pause happened. If just one person who reads / watches my Epic Weekend In Pictures feels better about getting the J & J shot, then I think we did a great thing.

The Sussex County Board of County Commissioners spent a considerable portion of their Wednesday night meeting recognizing the efforts of several non-profit groups and volunteer initiatives within Sussex County.
Among the honorees were volunteers at the county’s vaccination site as part of Volunteer Appreciation Month; Ginnie’s House Children’s Advocacy Center for Child Abuse Prevention Month; DASI for Sexual Assault Awareness Month; the efforts of the county’s Municipal Alliance for Wear Purple Day and Alcohol Awareness Month; and the role of Sussex County’s Government for National County Government Month.

The connection was formed a year ago and a pickup truck loaded with firefighting equipment went from northwest New Jersey to Alabama.
But when Sussex County firefighter Hunter Space was contacted again by his new friends down South, this time it would be far more serious and the response far larger.
