The Circle fans were left divided as Gladiators star Hunter catfished a NHS nurse in a bid to gain popularity on the show amid the coronavirus pandemic.
During Wednesday s episode, the bodybuilder, 43, real name James Crossley - explained why he went against his typical persona, with confused viewers insisting his move didn t sit well with them at all , while others claimed it s just a game show .
Contestants have moved into separate apartments, where they only communicate through social media site The Circle and compete to earn high ratings and avoid being blocked for three weeks in order to win a £50,000 prize.
