A prosecutor who had a heavy hand in building the Department of Justice's case against Hunter Biden would not answer most of lawmakers' questions during a closed-door interview with Congress on Thursday, according to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH).
Hunter Biden was charged with a slew of tax crimes this week, but in its indictment, the Department of Justice detailed overseas business ventures that sparked renewed concerns that the president’s son also violated foreign lobbying laws.
Hunter Biden asked a judge on Monday to dismiss the gun-related case against him in Delaware, claiming David Weiss was unlawfully appointed special counsel, among other arguments.
