The food company will expand distribution of Hungry Planet plant-based meat products in the US.
Consumer packaged goods holding firm Post Holdings entered into a new partnership to expand distribution of Hungry Planet Inc.’s plant-based meat products, the St. Louis-based company announced in a release Monday.
“Demand for plant-based meats is growing. We are excited to announce this partnership with Hungry Planet and to continue to offer more innovative product options to our customers,” said Mark Westphal, who serves as president of Michael Foods, a Post subsidiary, in a statement.
Post’s Foodservice and Refrigerated Foods business units will distribute the Hungry Planet products. The faux meat supplier’s products are found across the US in foodservice, grocery stores, ecommerce and restaurants.
