Warming centers are now opening up across the city of milwaukee. The milwaukee increase in people showing up during the cold. It averaged about 176 people at its mens shelter during the month of november. Last night. They had 184 people. Capacity during the winter months is 250 men. The mens side any time its below 20 degrees we dont let anybody outside overnight well get them inside. The idea dates back to the 80s and 90s when experts said it was good for your vehicle to let the engine warm up. However, cars nowadays warm it up fast than letting it sit and a brief idling time of no more than 30seconds is needed.
