Minister of Culture Lee Yung-te, front row second left, Deputy Legislative Speaker Tsai Chi-chang, front row fourth right, and other guests attend a news conference at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts in Taichung yesterday to celebrate the repatriation of more than 1,400 works by Taiwanese artist Hung Jui-lin. Hung’s family have donated the paintings to the Ministry of Culture. The artist’s eldest son, Hung Chun-hsiung, right on the screen, took part in the event over videoconference.
