Muscat: More than 10 people have been injured in North Al Batinah Governorate due to damages caused by rains, the Director of Saham Hospital said on Wednesday.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency ( ONA ), said:”Hammoud bin Saeed A Fazari, Director of Saham Hospital, said that these damages resulted in the injury of 13 people, 7 of whom were transferred to Sohar Hospital due to fractures, while the necessary treatment and medical care was provided to the rest of the injured in Saham Hospital.”
A number of wilayats and governorates of the Sultanate witnessed torrential rains, hail falling, rising sea waves on the coastal areas of the Sea of Oman, and active winds that led to the blowing of unstable objects and caused many damages to the private property of citizens.
