Blessings in a Backpack of Waukesha County has opened offices at 2010 Springdale Road, Waukesha, Wis. 53186, and is housed next to Habitat for Humanity s administrative offices. This is the first physical location for the nonprofit that provides food on the weekends for school children across America who might otherwise go hungry.
The Waukesha affiliate was recently named the fifth national chapter after eight years of strong growth. Local success has led to naming Nancy Major, a proven leader in nonprofit executive management roles, as managing director.
Major said, This is a thrilling announcement as it is the first official office location for Blessings in a Backpack of Waukesha County. I look forward to growing our footprint and services throughout the region. We are grateful to Mike Crowley and Habitat for Humanity for their generosity and kindness in providing this office space for us. This partnership will allow f
