The 2022 festival, the seventh since the event's founding, has a simple theme: 'discourse.' The festival 'will probe the idea of discourse through art, literature, music and more at 40-plus public events throughout Northeast Ohio,' according to a news release from the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities at Case Western Reserve University, which organizes the event. Among the speakers and performers are Jad Abumrad, a composer, journalist and founder of Radiolab, and LaToya Ruby Frazier, a MacArthur Foundation 'Genius Grant'-winning activist and photographer.
