A road safety rally was taken out by school students in Mango to spread awareness about traffic rules. The rally was organised by CII Young Indians in association with the Human Welfare Trust. Members and students of Young Indians, Human Welfare Trust, Mother’s Home, Kabir Memorial Urdu High School, Vivekananda International High School, Madarsa Jiya Darul Kirat and MO Academy High School participated in the rally.
Upset with traffic snarls on the three roads Dimna Road, Old Purulia Road, and Azadnagar Road that connect Mango town to other areas of the Steel City via the bridge across the Subarnarekha river, the residents of Mango locality and representatives of different organisations on Wednesday requested the deputy superintendent of police (Patamda circle), Bachan Deo Kujur, to help them in generating awareness on traffic rules among the commuters.
