The University of Baltimore School of Law and Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service (MVLS), the largest provider of pro bono civil legal services in Maryland, Tuesday received funding from the Department of Justice (DOJ) to significantly expand their Human Trafficking Prevention Project (HTPP). SOUTHINGTON â Two Southington high school graduates will hold a virtual training session on preventing human trafficking in April.
âPart of our training is to dispel myths,â said Kaylyn Fagan, a Quinnipiac University law student and co-chair of the universityâs Human Trafficking Prevention Project. Sheâs hosting the program with fellow Southington High School graduate and Quinnipiac law student Chris Iverson.
