From her Arizona home thousands of miles away, Cecilia Sears has been trying fruitlessly to set up a coronavirus vaccine appointment for her 95-year-old mother, who lives in Red Bank.
Her mother, Hilda, has advanced Parkinson’s and is unable to fill out the online forms needed to schedule the shots in New Jersey.
“Everything is all online, and once people get to a certain age or they’re not computer literate. they really make it impossible for the elderly,” Sears said.
