Perfecto Caparas : Can you please tell us about yourself? Which part of Burma were you from? How did you end up in Indiana? Elaisa Vahnie: Thank you for this opportunity. I was born and grew up in a tiny village in the Maraland, Chin State, western Myanmar one of the most remote parts of the world where my family and my villagers did not have access to proper education nor drinking water.
