Lawmakers in at least 23 states, often encouraged by vaccine skeptics, have proposed banning employers from requiring workers to get vaccinated against COVID-19 or other infectious diseases. Most bills are sponsored by Republicans, who say employees shouldn’t have to choose between getting a shot and staying employed.

Christian Kadima Mwambay was arrested at a lodging facility within Nairobiâs central business district.
Mwambay is accused of killing Elizabeth Koki, whom he was living with at Kokiâs home in Syokimau.
The DCI officers said Mwambay had âattempted to trickâ authorities into believing that he was at Riruta after driving his car there and abandoning it.
