The Center for Human Development in Chicopee and Lowell House in Reading will receive $800,000 to provide critical residential treatment services for young people across Massachusetts.
Each center will each receive $400,000 annually until 2030, with the Center for Human Development looking to provide 15-beds serving males, 13 to 17 years old and Lowell House will have 24 beds for both male and female population ages 13 to 17 years old. This will double the number of youth treatment beds in the state.
