The Nevers puts its best foot forward early on (right into a man s face) by foregrounding Amalia True as the latest kickass woman to quip and punch her way out of danger. Sound familiar? Review: HBO s The Nevers struggles with the legacy of creator Joss Whedon

Laura Donnelly and Ann Skelly are the heroes of the new HBO series The Nevers. THE NEVERS (Joss Whedon, Philippa Goslett). Premieres Sunday (April 11) at 9 pm on Crave, with new episodes airing weekly.
