Five years ago, as he prepared to host the Tony Awards, CBSâs James Corden played host to a mini-galaxy of theater and TV stars in the âCarpool Karaokeâ segment of his late-night show.
Aboard Cordenâs vehicle were six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald, whose stints on TV have included âPrivate Practiceâ and âThe Good Fightâ; Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator and star of âIn the Heightsâ and a little show called âHamiltonâ; Jane Krakowski of â30 Rockâ and âUnbreakable Kimmy Schmidtâ; and Jesse Tyler Ferguson of âModern Family.â

Tony winner Sutton Foster, in an Instagram Live video April 18, commented on Scott Rudinâs
decision to step back from Broadway. âI feel like the only positive outcome is the one that happened,â said the star, who is slated to play Marian Paroo opposite Hugh Jackman s Harold Hill in the upcoming Broadway revival of
The Music Man at the Winter Garden Theatre Marc J. Franklin
The Hollywood Reporter says Foster also apologized in her chat with Broadway alum and fitness coach Beth Nicely for not responding sooner to the allegations of abuse committed by Rudin. The performer says she decided not to jump onto social media to avoid being âreactionary.â
