Philanthropist Hugh Bolton was a giant in the city’s business community, a gentle soul who was a “gentleman through and through,” says Edmonton’s mayor, recalling the former head of Epcor who died last month.
From 2000 to 2018, Bolton served as the chairman of the city-run utility company. Mayor Don Iveson said through Bolton’s leadership, Epcor became the respected organization that it is today.
