The woman fell to the tracks around 9:42 p.m. Tuesday as a Hudson Yards-bound train rolled into the station. The train did not stop before running her over and she died at the scene, according to police.

But getting around this weekend is still going to be tough with many lines disrupted in the name of upgrading and maintaining our tracks, stations and signal systems in order to continue to provide our customers with safe and reliable service.
