HUDSON One of the reasons Selectman John Parent is encouraged with the selection of Thomas Gregory as the town s next executive assistant is because he shares a key trait with the man he is replacing, Thomas Moses.
“The basic item that brought both of them out was a very sincere desire to come to Hudson, to work in Hudson and to be part of the community,” said Parent, who chaired the search committees for both the selection of Moses in 2013 and recently for Gregory. “They both expressed that real willingness to establish themselves and be part of the community.”
Moses, who succeeded long-serving executive assistant Paul Blazer, came with municipal finance experience from his previous work, including in Lowell as the chief financial officer and assistant city manager.
