The Department of Environmental Conservation granted funds to the Hudson River Estuary Program, a partner of the University, to protect and promote stewardship and environmental education in watershed communities.
Through a long partnership between Cornell and the DEC, communities in the Hudson watershed have received training, tools and assistance to advance conservation land-use planning and policy.
The development would include an adventure park, multi-unit housing, a technology park and an amphitheater. Some residents are concerned about its impacts.
